I believe the more we understand, the bigger is the border to what we don’t know. That could be frustrating, for more knowledge and research do arise more questions – but to me, this is a never-ending fountain of curiosity. And I think everybody should get the chance to take a sip. I want to be handing out these sips and engage more in science communication.
So I want to make a few announcements:
(1) There will be more traffic again. I restart my blog on this very site. I already prepared a few texts about conspiracy beliefs and updates about my research.
(2) I am working on publishing my own Podcast – if you have any ideas or want to be part of my testing audience, don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am happy to learn and grow with your experience!
(3) As you can read in the CV-section, I have plenty of experience in practical journalism. I loved working for the radio or local newspapers and right now I am enjoying texting for angstfrei.news. But I am no professional in science communication just yet. I want to change that and this is why this text is in English: I apply for the International Summerschool „Communicating Science“ of the network „Wissenschaft im Dialog“.
For this application I had to create a video, presenting my research and my motivation to dive into science communication. I am happy to share it with you, for I enjoyed producing it. The official part ends around 3:00min, but I suggest, you watch it until the bitter end.
So, what do you think? Should I get into the youtube business? I am thankful for feedback – feel free to comment.
